Urban Rec Leagues are all about being active, being social, and having fun. At Urban Rec we stress the FUN and social aspect of playing adult sports with your friends. It really is all about getting out, meeting people, and generally having a good time.
Urban Rec has one goal: to provide the best possible experience to our members. Whether it's league nights, theme parties, social gatherings, or other Urban Rec events, we want to provide an unparalleled experience that you'll remember forever.
Urban Rec Basketball combines the energy of the game with the camaraderie of our community. This coed league is held at Colquitz Middle School and is open to players of all skill levels.
All participants register individually and are placed on balanced teams for the season — it’s a great way to meet new people, stay active, and enjoy some friendly competition.

With brand-new courts at Vic High, we’re excited to add Coed 4’s Beach Volleyball to the Urban Rec community. Join us for Thursday night games in a fun, social, and active atmosphere!

This fun, social 6-on-6 league a one hour game per week. Teams are required to have at least 2 of each gender on the field at all times.
So grab your friends and form your own team, or sign up for an individual's team and make some new friends! This is a great way to stay active, have fun and meet some great people. Registration is limited so be sure to register early!
All teams that are registered in a league will have priority registration for that subsequent league.

Two years ago, we started a home business together as a couple. After a lot of hard work, the business is doing great and we're finally able to take some time for ourselves. We joined Urban Rec to get back into shape and maybe meet some new friends. We were blown away by the amount of amazing people we've met and how quickly rec sports (particularly softball) has become part of our weekly lifestyle.
Our Social League is just like any one of our sports leagues. It encourages interaction, fun, and social activity! But instead of scoring goals/points/downs you get to go to a local establishment, receive discounts on food and drink, and enjoy a night out with your team. Studies show that the more you know your team, the better the chances of you working together effectively and winning!
