Urban Rec Leagues are all about being active, being social, and having fun. At Urban Rec we stress the FUN and social aspect of playing adult sports with your friends. It really is all about getting out, meeting people, and generally having a good time.
Urban Rec has one goal: to provide the best possible experience to our members. Whether it's league nights, theme parties, social gatherings, or other Urban Rec events, we want to provide an unparalleled experience that you'll remember forever.
Urban Rec Victoria basketball leagues are played at Colquitz Middle School, Victor Brodeur School, Gordon Head Middle School, and the Pacific Island Training Centre.

Urban Rec Beach Volleyball has been a spring and summer favorite across BC for years, and now it’s finally here in Victoria! With brand-new courts at Vic High, we’re excited to add Coed 4’s Beach Volleyball to the Urban Rec community. Join us for Thursday night games in a fun, social, and active atmosphere!
We are thrilled to partner with the amazing team at the Fernwood Inn, just a block away from the courts. Enjoy great discounts and even better company!
Beach volleyball is an outdoor sport, and in true Victoria fashion, we know a little rain won’t stop the fun! All leagues will run rain or shine, with cancellations only in cases of extreme weather.

We have a variety of coed volleyball leagues for you to choose from, with leagues played in gyms located across Greater Victoria. Leagues are offered multiple nights per week.

...rec sports keep us active, it's something fun we can do together, and we meet so many amazing people.
Two years ago, we started a home business together as a couple. After a lot of hard work, the business is doing great and we're finally able to take some time for ourselves. We joined Urban Rec to get back into shape and maybe meet some new friends. We were blown away by the amount of amazing people we've met and how quickly rec sports (particularly softball) has become part of our weekly lifestyle.
Our Social League is just like any one of our sports leagues. It encourages interaction, fun, and social activity! But instead of scoring goals/points/downs you get to go to a local establishment, receive discounts on food and drink, and enjoy a night out with your team. Studies show that the more you know your team, the better the chances of you working together effectively and winning!
