Urban Rec Leagues are all about being active, being social, and having fun. At Urban Rec we stress the FUN and social aspect of playing sports with your friends. It really is all about getting out, meeting people, and generally having a good time.

Urban Rec Victoria basketball leagues are played at Colquitz Middle School, Victor Brodeur School, Gordon Head Middle School, and the Pacific Island Training Centre.

Our coed dodgeball leagues are played 6-on-6 with at least 2 women and 1 man on the floor to start each game. We have leagues that play on each Tuesday night from 6pm-10pm.

Welcome to the most exciting indoor coed pickleball league in town – where fun meets competition, and laughter echoes through every rally!
In the spring/summer, we will be offering Spikeball leagues and tournaments for our members in the Victoria area.
This new and fun sport will be played in teams of two, and will be open to all players (no gender requirements in our Spikeball Leagues or Tournaments).

Originated, and typically played, by elementary and middle-school students, Dodgeball was more of a fun sport that gave you the excuse to throw balls at people. The sport has since grown into something exponentially larger with leagues popping up all over north america along with legitimate professional tournaments. Achieve your dream of Dodgeball supremacy, get a great workout, and laugh your butt off in the process.

Two years ago, we started a home business together as a couple. After a lot of hard work, the business is doing great and we're finally able to take some time for ourselves. We joined Urban Rec to get back into shape and maybe meet some new friends. We were blown away by the amount of amazing people we've met and how quickly rec sports (particularly softball) has become part of our weekly lifestyle.
Our Social League is just like any one of our sports leagues. It encourages interaction, fun, and social activity! But instead of scoring goals/points/downs you get to go to a local establishment, receive discounts on food and drink, and enjoy a night out with your team. Studies show that the more you know your team, the better the chances of you working together effectively and winning!
