Winter Classic: 4 on 4 Hoops Tourney

In partnership with The GRIND, Urban Rec is thrilled to offer, the 1st annual Winter Classic 4-on-4 Basketball Tourney. The event will be a reunion of West Coast Rec 4 on 4 teams as well as some great new ballers who have moved to town since the pandemic and are enthusiastic to join our legendary baseketball community.

It’s been too long since we last hit the court together, and we’re bringing it back for one weekend only. Join us for a special basketball tournament that revives the spirit of our 4-on-4 league. Remember the buzzer beaters, the hard-fought battles and the countless Tuesday nights we spent chasing down that last-minute win? Well, it’s time to lace up again and see if we still have it.

Teams play two games Friday night and guaranteed two games Saturday, for some friendly competition and a chance to relive the camaraderie that made the league unforgettable. The vibe will be laid-back, the memories will be strong, and a few tee shirts and gift certificates will be up for grabs. No matter if we’re a bit slower or sporting some new aches—this one’s all about the good times and reconnecting with the crew.

Whether you’re still playing or just trying to shake the rust off, come out for a weekend that celebrates the game we all love and the friendships we built along the way.

Registration Cost:
Team Registration: $250.00 (Tax Included)
 

Dates:  Friday December 6, 6:30 – 9:30 p.m. & Saturday December 7, 11 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Divisions: Elite – 4 teams; Competitive 4 teams (some movement between divisions may occur after the round robin)
Format: Games are made up of two 16 min running time halves.
